This is an essay I am doing for school. My grammer is awful and my ideas are scattered. Essays are not my forte... please help!
Education is very important for an individual's success in life. The St. Louis administration may improve the lives of students by making the following three changes. Implement manageable class sizes, provide on-line registration and construct a library for students. Education is important for the economic growth of our nation, so it is important that students at St. Louis have every opportunity to excel.
One way that the administration may improve the lives of students at St. Louis is providing manageable class sizes. With overloaded classes, it does not make a good learning environment for the student or a good teaching environment for the teacher. It is hard for a teacher to fully explain things to a student if the teacher is in high demand for questions. As well, students at St. Louis Adult Learning Centre have been known to be left without desks to work on. They are therefore forced to write on their laps for the remainder of their course. When paying to go to school at an institution, I believe it is their responsibility to make sure they accommodate. If the St. Louis administration is going to improve the lives of students, they must be able to accommodate class sizes to make sure they are able to provide students with the requirements needed to learn.
A second way the administration of St. Louis can improve the lives of students is to provide the option of online registration. Not only will it be faster for students by not having to go through a timely appointment with a counsellor. Employees of St. Louis will have all information in front of them to make the registration process go much quicker without having to talk things through with each individual student face to face. Having St. Louis employees getting the registration process done faster, they would not need as many people working during registration; will cut costs that can be put towards further improvements of the school to improve student life at St. Louis.
Lastly, a third way that the administration may help St. Louis improve the livelihood of students is by adding a library into the school. Students would greatly benefit from having a library in the school. The majority of students while attending St. Louis will never even see the library. If the library was a part of the school, students would have more flexibility over when and where work is done. They can pursue and learn in a more independent way, instead of always using teachers or peers as second resources. It will teach them to access, apply and evaluate information to solve problems on their own.
The higher your educational learning is, the better your chances are of creating opportunities for yourself. The better your opportunities are, the better your quality of life is. There's no other way to put it. It is important for students to have everything they need in order to do well in life. I believe managing class sizes, pushing towards online registration and constructing a library to be part of the school will help students be more inspired to learn. And as we all know, knowledge is power.
