I am really having a hard time to write essays like these. It took me more than three hours to write these short essays.

I know they are not good enough since English is my second language. I hope you guys can give me some suggestions!

Describe examples of your leadership experience in which you significantly influenced others, helped resolve disputes, or contributed to group efforts over time. Consider responsibilities to initiatives taken in or out of school.

(Minimum 750 Characters)

One of my most exhilarating leadership experiences has been the president of the Art Troupe, which is the first association organized by students spontaneously to contract profermances like the school's anniversary party. Before I become the president, I am just a girl who love to express herself by sing and dancing. Until one day I was told by my teacher that she wants me to lead the junior students organizing a Christmas Party. I knew she proposed me for the leader out of her trust but I do feel stressful at the same time. We practiced every night for two weeks, rehearsed over and over again. What surprised me most was they were never late. One of the students told me once because of her illness, she missed some days practices, however instead of finding other student to replace her, I helped her catch up. The Christmas Party was stunning and since I earned the respect from them, I was chosen president of the Art Troupe.

Describe any special interests and how you developed knowledge in these areas. Give examples of your creativity - the ability to see alternatives; take diverse perspectives; come up with many, varied or original ideas; or willingness to try new things. (Minimum 750 Characters)

It might be inflenced by my grandfather who owns a hotel in our community, I always has a stange sence of comfort when I live in a hotel. A perfect hotel has a fine location, nice food, and most importantly good service that makes the traveling people feel like home. So, to experience the services from different hotels become my special interests. I have stayed in several hotels and I would earnestly fill out the Customer Feedback Form next day. However I got tired of being the customer, one day I created my first resume and handed to a popular hotel in my hometown. I did not tell my family until I got this internship since I love doing thing on my own. Certainly I had a wonderful time there and all these experiences help me grow. Now hotel is more than an interest, it is a dream, a dream to have my own hotel.

Describe your experiences facing or witnessing discrimination. Tell us how you responded and what you learned from these experiences and how they have prepared you to contribute to the UNLV community.

(Minimum 750 Characters)

I have a very close friend, Sam. Sam is a gay but he did not unitl he went to high school. When he spunked up enough courage to tell me what kind of person he really is, I got shocked and ran away. Trying to avoid people you care was pretty hard. Everytime I saw the eyes of Sam, I saw helpless and struggling. So I accepted the new Sam and after we had a long heart-to-heart conversation, they decided to keep the secret. But life is no TV show. It was found out when a boy overhearded our conversation and this breaking news ran rapidly in the school. Boys started to slight him: they refused to have lunch with Sam on the same table, called for his expulsion from the sports team, even put the outdated cream in his shampoo just beacasue he was homosexual. I could not bear this anymore so I told our teacher what was happening on Sam. It turned out the teacher asked Sam's parents to bring him home. I will never forget the words he said to me when he left:" I am not shame who I am". I used to think gay person only exist in televesion, but when these thing really happen to the person you care, it is really not a big deal. Therefore, I will not only show my talent to the commiunity but also treat others with a broadened mind and open arms, be a good listener.

One of my most exhilarating leadership experiences has been thedischarging my duties as the president of the Art Troupe, which is the first association organized by students spontaneously to contract profermancesperformanceslike the school's anniversary party.... well, the latter part is not very clear. I think it is better you explain a little more about the objective of this association, ideally in a separate sentence.
