Although I had been so set on leaving home, I decided to visit the Ohio State University, just 30 minutes away from home, because of the highly ranked College of Nursing. The college of nursing was superior to the other schools I'd seen and to say the least, I was very impressed. I felt comfortable and at home on campus and I was definitely infected with the Buckeye spirit, just from a few hours on school grounds. I could see myself driving to school everyday, more excited than I've ever been to go to class and learn. I can't wait to be a Buckeye and after my freshman year, apply to and excel in the BSN program. I know that an education at OSU would effectively prepare me for and set me up for a lifelong career as a nurse.
