Prompt: Describe your family and your family's contribution to your education. Is it to short??? This is for college offered scholarships.

My dreams of going to college have been significantly motivated by my parents. Both of them have common stories of how they regret not continuing their education. They are thrilled that I will be the first one in my immediate family to attend college. Since I'm an only child, much of my parent's time was devoted to making sure I understood how important it was to remain focused on school. Before each quiz, test, or project they would express the importance of preparation. They taught me that the value of an education is priceless for it is something that will form the rest of my life.

Some of the most important lessons my parents have taught me are lessons not learned in school. Perseverance is what my mom taught me as I watched her battle breast cancer. She taught me to proceed with my dreams even though I may encounter hurdles along the way. My stepdad taught me there is a time for everything, and that includes having fun. No one can make me laugh like he does. Together they instilled in me to be respectful, compassionate, and committed.

Hi,

I think you essay is really nice and well written but in my opinion i think it's a little too short. Try to elaborate a little more. Other than that i thought it was fine overall. What is the world limit on you essay?

Ps. Can you edit my supplementary application for Mcmaster?
