Night Club Manager; USC - work experience

I had to take out my radio earpiece - it was making my ear itch. Not that I could hear anything anyway because my ears were shot. The deafening bass was crashing in my ears in never ending waves. My phone started vibrating, an email alert. I was being informed that a huge spender was on his way and we needed to clear the VIP section. To make matters worse, our computers were down and we couldn't ring in our sales at the bar. It was already 2:32am and my night was far from finished.

As a nightclub manager, I knew dealing with chaotic situations comes with the job, but this wasn't my first rodeo. Quick thinking is the difference between making and losing sales. I decided the steady flow of revenue from bar sales was more important than attending to a big spender, so I ran to the service bar to restart our computers. I have to be comfortable in the fact that the best decision isn't always the right decision.
