ekimm9 1 / - Dec 25, 2010 #1Whether singing in front of dying seniors in a hospice or performing in front of people in a church, participating in a school glee club called "Living Hope" has given me unforgettable memories and experiences. But more importantly, I learned not only how to sing better, but also how to apply the musical inspiration to daily life.Through this group, I have learned how to harmonize well with others in life. I have been disciplined that although my unique sound and tone are essential to a group, sometimes I have to lower my individual voice to make a unison sound of the group. Such discipline led me to respect the importance of others in life as well as my individuality. By continuing to sing in a college by joining a choir or an a capella group, I hope to become a more harmonious, yet unique person.I need a help with this short essay for a common app! :(Any help would be really appreciated! Thanks in advance!
