Prompt: Describe your personality and what makes you unique.
Everyone in this world is different from one another. Some have good qualities, while others have bad ones. Everyone is unique and so am I. I am self- reliant, sincere, serious, and determined. I am capable of doing many things by myself. At school, if I don't understand a chapter, or the teacher did not teach the section well enough, I go home and read the chapter until I completely understand it. Even though I am very self-reliant, I know the right people to go to when it comes time to ask for help. I am sincere, and dedicated because when I start something, I finish it no matter how long it takes. Additionally, I am also serious yet still know when to be friendly. I take things that are important to me seriously, but when it comes to friends I am kind and caring. Along with these 3, I am also quite determined. When I set a goal, I try extremely hard, to fulfill my goal. These are just some of the qualities that I have that I feel are important in order to be successful at NCSSM.
I think it's good-- it sums up some great characteristics. I think you could improve it a bit by going a bit more personal. Like, instead of only the characteristics, maybe a more in depth example? Either way, it works.
