Showing commitment in reaching my lifetime goals

hi, my name is Ashley.
I am seeking out for help on my college essay. I am not really sure what to write since I don't really take any extra curricular classes that would help me in becoming a teacher..

I will be very grateful if anyone is willing to help me out!
this is what I have so far.

Goal achieving is something that you absolutely must do if you want to reach your full potential as a human being. The goals you set for yourself will enable you to do the work you want to do, to live where you want to live and to become the kind of person you want to be. In reaching those goals, you'll have to put your all and show that you are willing to take risks in order to get where you want to be.

There are things that I would want to accomplish in my lifetime, starting with graduating from high school. I'm doing well in school so I know I am staying on track to fulfilling my goals. Following up with this goal would be attending a university. I will be the first of my family to enroll in a university which although may be a stressful process, it is something I am looking forward to. I want to make my mother proud and show her that I appreciate everything she has done for me.

I currently have a baby-sitting job and quite frankly I enjoy it. I have found that I love interacting with children and caring for them, which is why I want to pursue a career in teaching. It's not just that I find it intriguing to work with young children, but being able to teach them something and expand their curiosity to not be afraid to ask questions. I have a lot of respect for teachers because although it may not be the best paying job out there, they are doing what they love and showing that they care by giving children an education. Which is what I am seeking out to do.

I want to give back to those who are less fortunate; it's what I have been thought to do growing up. My mom was a single mother raising three young girls, she never once complained about anything. In any way that she could she would give back by helping out in her local church and donating clothes to shelters we once lived in when she first brought us to the United States. Now that we have a stable home and she has a well paying job, we still go every once in a while and donate clothes, toys, and furniture to those same shelters.

When Im older I want to look back and feel pleased in what I have accomplished throughout my life. I don't want to shame myself and think about all the opportunities I didn't push myself to take.
