"I think I'm in love with my radio, cause it never lets me down. And I fall in love with my stereo, whenever I hear that sound", words sang by Beyonce in her song "Radio". It's safe to say that I am in love with music. I love how there is a song for everything I have ever felt, such as heartbreak, happiness, loneliness, and a want for God. Sometimes, I just sit and listen to my music and let the rhythm and melodies hit me and take me away where my mp3 player is my best friend. I love how one song evokes memories, how another gets me ready for a track meet, and how Mary Mary's "Heaven" gets me excited for the future. Music became alive for me when I joined the Marching Band as a flute player and flag girl, where I got to march and dance to the beat of the music. I love the fact that I can sit down at the piano and teach myself how to play a song by ear. If only I could sing as good as I play. Consider this your warning, when I am really feeling a song don't be surprised if you hear me singing along, maybe you'll want to sing along with me! As my roommate, I hope you love music just as much as I do, if not, I would be happy to show you the many things I have learned by just listening to it.

i dont know what else to do. is it good???

only I could sing as good as I play----sing as WELL as you play, not as good

words sang by Beyonce in her song "Radio". It's safe to say that I am in love with music------change to-----These soulful lyrics by Beyonce embody my life and my love for music.

song don't be surprised if you hear me singing along, ----completely a stylistic edit but u could change to ...song don't be surprised if you see me jamming with a hairbrush

it was cute, but needs work, it got better when u started talking about music ni other aspects like the marching band

Your passion for music is really evident, but perhaps you might discuss more things with your future roommate? quirks, habits, what makes you you on an everyday scale? I feel like your love of music probably has come up some where else in your app (given the extracurriculars you mention) and this is a chance to show the reviewer something that won't be anywhere else :) very well written though! caught my attention. I'm writing the same thing actually, read mine in return? :)

I don't want to let you down your essay overall is pretty good, but if I were you I would not insert words from a song or a quote in my essay because they don't want to hear from anyone accept you "the applicant".
