"No two persons ever read the same book." - Edmund Wilson

For me perspective is the main key to see all issues in life not as a burden, yet as a golden opportunity. Just like one of the most successful business man in Indonesia Chairul Tanjung. When our country (Indonesia) had our great economic recession everybody sells their possession, businesses as well as their stocks. Nonetheless, this man saw this great economic fall as a prospective chance to build his business and beat down the mainstream way of people see this mission impossible to a mission possible. Chairul Tanjung inspired me not only as a person but also as a fighter. I believe by not easily jumping into a conclusion or a mainstream perspective but jump out of the problem and examines other perspective and details; we can acquire a better view of a problem and not only to solve it, but also to use it for the greater good.

The very first objective for me to move and study abroad in The United States of America, is to obtain another view of thinking of life. At first i was confused of what to have as a major, so i can apply my interest on multiple perspective. Then my mom expose me to this major of Industrial Engineering. I began my research about this major and as a result, I had exactly the main thing I want to do in my life, solve problems and make improvement. Moreover, as an Industrial Engineer I will be able to work in a team of problem solver. When this idea kicked in, I was really excited to be working on people who will have a multiple perspective for the problem and also for me to learn.

In my perspective, Texas A&M offers me a lot of prospective possibilities for me to be more successful in my pursuit of Engineering life. Texas A&M offers me a great quality of education so in the future, not that i can only view multiple perspective of a problem, but also solve it and improve in the right way. Texas A&M also offers me the right research that i really want to do. Specifically the System Informatics research. This one of the biggest motivation for me to do my best in my current studies, so i can learn from it and hopefully be a part of the research. Hopefully I can be accepted to Texas A&M, so I could be a better person for me and for my country.

id like to start by asking if you can provide the essay instructions so me or anyone in the forum can better help you with it :). Here are some of the things i spotted on the first paragraph.

For me, perspective is the main key to see all issues in life not as a burden, but as a golden opportunity. Just like Chairul Tanjung , one of the most successful business me n in Indonesia this forms as a run-on sentence you must add something more to it or merge it with the first sentence by a coma . When the great economic recession hit my country, everyone started selling their possessions. Nonetheless, this man saw this great economic fall as a prospective chance to build his business and beat down the mainstream way of people see this mission impossible to a mission possiblewhat do you mean by this? . Chairul Tanjung inspired me not only as a person but also as a fighter. I believe by looking outside of popular opinion and into other more overlooked perspectives,i believe thats what you meannot easily jumping into a conclusion or a mainstream perspectivebut jump out of the problem and examines other perspective and details we can acquire a better view of a problem and not only to solve it, but also to use it for the greater good . i feel this should be changed
