'Where is the Love? - Black Eyed Peas' "Take control of your mind and meditate". Focus on your goal/objective in life; don't waste your energy on the things you can't control. This song is basically disclosing all of the hatred and all of the un-needed non-sense that takes place in today's society. Nothing positive or good is coming from all the hatred in the world today and the only solution is for everyone to focus on their goal in life.

My life was influenced by this song in that I don't focus on things I can't control, there is no reason to waste energy and stir up hatred over non-sense. The song states all the awful things going on in the world without love. Not neither to bring you down nor to make you feel guilty BUT to open your eyes. To love people. Not just your family, friends, boyfriend/girlfriend. To selflessly love others as well and that's how I think today. As the bible says "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres".

I think that slash (/) should not be used in formal writing. Focus on your goal and objective in life
