The continued rise in the world's population is the greatest problem faced by humanity at the present time.

What are the causes of this continued rise?

Do you agree that it is the greatest problem faced by humanity?

These days, overpopulation is becoming a serious problem around the world. As such, humanity has to face the continued growth up to the world's population as it can add the number of problems to meet their daily needs which are limited. Therefore, I would argue that this phenomenon is caused by people's unawareness that the earth has limited resources to fulfill their needs, and this is a serious problem settled by humanity.

The predominant factor of overpopulation in the world is that most people unaware about the effect of this problem because if they understand that it can bring the greatest problem of their daily needs, they will be more careful. For example, people are more to safe using condom when they make a love, so that this can avoid bearing many children. As a consequence, there is no doubt that the continued rise in the world's population is a serious problem which humanity must face.

On the other hand, inhabitants should settle this problem since they have made this problem happened. Take Indonesia as an example, Indonesian society has successfully faced this problem in 1990, in which they limit having to two children for every family. As a result, if Indonesian people cannot face this problem, they will get a great problem. Consequently, it is clear that overpopulation is a serious problem that people have to settle.

The aforementioned evidence reveals that as overpopulation is caused by humanity, I strongly believe that the greatest problem of the continued rise in the world's population becomes inhabitants' responsibility, and they must face it.

This prompt has two questions to answer. Here I see you raise some issues to tackle the two tasks. Yet, your claims presented did not fully address the tasks. If I were you, then I'd write medical treatment resulting the rise in births and reduced mortality rate are the causes. Also, I decline to say that overpopulation is the biggest problem that humans face nowadays, but climate change. A closer look at my model answer; Human overpopulation is indeed a major issue, since this brings more poverty in some countries. As I see, better medical treatment as a result of the advanced growth in technology is one of causes introducing overpopulation. Yet, this is not the major threat to the planet in decades. Global climate disruption should be taken into account, since this issue creates more heat-related illnesses and deaths. Hope this helps. - Eddy Suaib.

let me try to rewrite my essay based on your useful advice.

These days, overpopulation is indeed a major issue around the world. As such, humanity has to face the continued growth up to the world's population as it can bring the number of problems to meet their daily needs which are limited. Therefore, I believe that this phenomenon is caused by developed technology in medical practice to save humanity disease whilst the growth of poverty rates is effect of this.

The predominant factor of overpopulation in the world is advanced medical treatment. Result reveals that sophisticated technology encourages medical expert to come up with their great invention on modern medical practice to treat people getting birth and to cope rare disease. The considerable impact of this can reduce early mortality rate and cause the rise in births dramatically. As a consequence, by the advanced growth in technology of medical practice, it is inevitable that population rates become more and more.

As far as I am concerned, a significant world' population growth brings a serious problem for humanity. A recent international study reported that some developed countries have a significant increase of poverty rates affected by population growth during recent decades. This study also suggested that large population take more nation fund so that some public infrastructures around the countries fail to be developed. As a result, it is arguably that overpopulation raises other problems causing people to have more complicated human problem.

The aforementioned evidence reveals that there relate considerably between population growth and an increase in poverty rates. Therefore, I would argue that government should formulate a strict policy to control population increase to prevent other huge problems of social society life.
