"Why do you want to do the short course to which you have been admitted?

In Vietnam, accompanied with rapid and unsustainable economical development , environmental pollution has become a threat to our lives and heath, environmental management is the only way to work towards sustainable development. That is why it is essential to have well trained environmental managers. Short courses in environmental management from the Netherlands, a successful country in environmental protection, are precious opportunities for Vietnam. Working at the Department of Environment, where we train students to be environmental managers and engineers, I always have to continuously improve myself by obtaining the knowledge and skills of modern environmental management systems to become a good teacher. Participating in this course is a good chance to me to fulfill my goals.

What do you hope to achieve for your organization by doing this short course?

The knowledge and skills I will gain from this course are highly valuable not only for environmental management systems in Vietnam but also for my organization. I will share all of them with my colleagues at the Department of Environment so that they can update themselves and teach for their students. Furthermore, I will share my knowledge with my students and apply them in my further scientific research. In addition, Faculty of Environmental Technology is a newly formed faculty - what I learn from this course would be useful and helpful to us in choosing better solutions for environmental management projects."
