I am inclined to believe that the TV advertisements which are directing to young children should not be allowed. May be some company directors disagree with me but we should understand importance of child life and we should avoid luring child to buy something that is unnecessary for them.
First reasons is ,young children have blank brain, every thing they watch has impact on their brain, so if we allow advertising companies to create advertisements aiming to lure young children, it could cause negative effects on them. For example, if in advertisement of car toy product, a child play with that car toy even he drive the car in the sky. When children watch this, their brains could not determine difference between imaginary and reality, thus, in turn, they will try this formula by playing with toy car and will jump from the roof of the house for driving the car in the sky.
Second, it will make children more aggressive in demanding that product from their parents, and if the demand was not fulfilled, they could do something dangerous for their health. For example, I remember that a child in my family watched a advertisement about child bicycle, which is expensive, and their parents could not afford to buy that cycle despite their desire, but the child insisted, even he left eating and become ill. These all things happened because of that stupid advertisement.
Third, some products which are show on TV, are not suitable for children's health, like chocolate, it may be dangerous for some children's tooth. After watching this kind of advertisement children may be inclined to eat chocolates, which in turn make their tooth unhealthy.
there is no doubt that nowadays the advertising become only way to reach consumers, but as I recommend , these advertisements should be directed to child's parents not child. By implementing this, we would avoid the disadvantages.
From what has been discussed above, we can easily draw the conclusion that the TV advertisements directed to young children should be banned by government, because it has many negative effects on child as mentioned above.
