The diagrams show the changes that have taken place at West Park Secondary School since its contraction in 1950.The changing of West Park Secondary School area between 1950 and 2010 is shown by the map and it is explained for every three decade. The most noticeable change is the existence of houses and catchment area such as farmland which is replaced by parking area.
Land usage for several facilities remain balance in the beginning of the period. Main road location is opposite of the school and houses. Moreover, farmland is located in the south of houses, while in the south east of it, there is playground. In 1980, there is an obvious change on land usage where houses is replaced by car park and science block, which is part of school development. It is located in the west of school's main building. Besides that, farmland is change into sports field.
In the following three decade, the school does not experience any changing, but there is an immense change on the parking area as it replace all of sports field. But, sports field are moved to the west of playground area, and it takes about a third of the area.
