Multilateral Aid - please check my grammar mistakes

Multilateral aid is run by international organizations such as the World Bank and "United Nations (UN) is given from a contributing country to a developing country. Many governments distribute money, food and water, building pipelines and homes to countries that really need help." It has provided a lot of effective ways to solve the problem of poverty and develop the world. Although it helps many countries, it is necessary to know more about the negative aspects of multilateral aid, like the aid agencies donate money to the poor countries and operating through bad governments, it might not reach the person who wants the money. However, it also has some argument that strong countries, such as U.S and British, want to control of the small countries through multilateral aid, "especially United States, it hopes to intervene others politics and culture using its economic and military strength through multilateral aid" . Otherwise, multilateral aid is a good way to develop the world.

Multilateral agencies provide both humanitarian and development aid to the countries that lack of money. Now, these organizations have made great strides in improving the way they work, they are going to focus efforts on strengthening areas of weakness, they give food to countries that need of food supplies if they have just suffered a disaster or human event, also, they offer job opportunities and study chances by using their funding to people who really need them. These multilateral agencies have already helped thousands of countries to develop both economics and social culture or customs. The real needs of the received countries are focused on for the aid to target towards.

Since this kind of aid is organized by the whole world, it is a way to enhance the relationship between nations. Rich countries help poor countries through multilateral aid organizations, it might reduce the misunderstanding between these two areas, also, and it can strengthen the communication in these countries, like economics and politics, or even culture. So, it has advantages in both countries.

However, there have some problems that some countries try to control others with the help of multilateral aid. The United States use aid to influence the internal politics of other nations, and support their weaker allies. Since U.S is a powerful country, it accompanies most of these organizations, or perhaps it manipulates them, so it can control the funds and try to be the master of the world. So, most countries might not get the money they could receive, and the aid often does not reach the governments as the United States uses it for other purposes.

Now, there has another disadvantage of this kind of aid is that many developing countries have become dependent upon it for their survival. However, it still helps countries from different aspects, such as give money to support for education or provide health care and so on. Multilateral aid is given by donor countries to recipient countries to help their development, or support them recover from a disaster, it means, this kind of aid is still an important way to make the progress of sociality. Although multilateral aid is not being used productively, it is still a good idea and the aid could be spent for more important way.

Larger countries can sneak into poorer countries' internal government through helping them in natural disasters. The US is taking control of smaller countries through multilateral aid. In many constants, the US Government sneaks into other countries through multilateral aid. Although it is not very moral and not agreed by many first world countries but many countries are still doing it because of the high profits and the political control of the country. "In March 2003, the US opposes a war with Iraq. The war lasts for more than a year and the war is still on. The main purpose of the war was not taking control of the Iraqi Government but its precious crude oil." "The US Government used the excuse of opposing Iraq's nuclear production. The US Government said that Iraq can use the nuclear weapons to threaten the world and the welfare of the people." "The battle of Iraq and US was endless, even though the former president of Iraq, Saddam Hussein and his family was taken down; the followers of Saddam Hussein are still opposing Bush and his troops causing more deaths and geographical destruction. Saddam Hussein was hung on December 30, 2007." Before President Bush declared the war upon Iraq, he promised that he will fix all destructions caused by the war like houses, airports, streets, stores etc. The US Government did recreate Iraq as promised but at a high price. First of all the US Government spent a lot of many to assemble troops. "Second, the US Government spent a lot of money to make weapons such as tanks, F22, F18, F4, B2, floating aerodrome, AK47, rocket launchers, grenades, mine bombs, MP4, MP5, H1 Hummer, sniper riffle, Desert Eagle, M4, auto-piloted jets, flash bomb, shot gun, knife, bullpup, KM Sub- machine gun, CV-47, ES C90, bullet-proof vest etc. The US Government spent about 9.4% of the GDP to finance the war." Iraq wasn't the only victim. The US wanted Cuba for many years but cannot lay its hands on it. The Cuban President, Fidel was a very strong communist leader. He did not surrender to the US but fought against it. Cuba got support from many countries, especially China. The US wanted the marine base in Cuba. The US set up the base before Cuba got independent. The US wanted the base back but Cuba disagreed. In order to fight against Cuba, the US befriended Guatemala, so that the US can set up a marine base to fight Cuba. The Guatemalans got a lot of benefits from it. The US did not just Guatemala financially but also militarily. On the outside the US is helping Guatemala but in reality it is using Guatemala to fight against Cuba. It is the same thing with Iraq, on the outside it is rebuilding Iraq but in reality it is the crude oil that US wants.

Multilateral aid really helps countries that suffered from natural disasters. "Recently, on May 12, 2008, an earthquake of magnitude 8 happened in Si Chuan Province, China. Most countries in the world created monetary funds and organizations for rebuilding Si Chuan. Not only organizations like UN, Red Cross and World Bank helped in this accident but also celebrities and citizens of the world. Even our owe school set up a fundraising program to help the victims of the devastating earthquake." Famous celebrities like Jackie Chan and Jet Li donated about 2 million RMB each. NBA Super-Star Yao Ming donated 0.2 million RMB. Ka Chan Lee (Hong Kong richest man) and TVB owner donated 1 billion HKD each. The Red Cross didn't sponsored money but also sent lifesavers to the situation of the disaster. Japan and Taiwan sent rescue teams to Si Chuan Province to help the victims of the earthquake. Through the multilateral aid, many victims were saved and were able to live again and have hopes to survival. "In December 2004, a deactivating tsunami struck the Indian Ocean. Approximately 0.3 million people died in the incident. The tsunami was said to be caused by a strong earthquake of magnitude 8.7 near the Indian Ocean. The countries that were mainly affected were Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore. Rescue teams from all over the world came to the site of the disaster. Not only rescue teams came but also Red Cross members and many other volunteers. UN and the World Bank donated a lot of cash to rebuild the countries again. In this way, the true purpose of multilateral aid is brought out and not using it as a way to take over another country. Through helping suffering countries, the relationship among countries can be strengthened."

Multilateral aid can strengthen the relationship between nations. In times, China often helps Cuba when she is in trouble. Whether it is financial problems or war problems, China was always there to back up Cuba. Why? It is because both Cuba and China are communist countries. Not many countries are communist. Another reason is that both China and Cuba are foes of The United States. As said earlier, The United States wants the marine base that is in Cuba but Cuba would not hand it over to the United States. China is foe with The United States because The United States is afraid that China will take over its place in the economy. Since China is growing, its status in the world is getting higher and one day it will surpass the United States. And the United States don't want that to happen. Cuba and China had set up a bond so strong that China will back up Cuba if The United States tries to pull a war. In return, Cuba can give a vote for China in the World Trade Organization and other international organizations. I think that in pretty fair. I help you, you help me back. It is like a cycle that goes on and on. Another example of this type of relationship is the bond between China and Russia. In 2005, China and Russia have joined together in a strategic partnership aimed at countering the US and Western "monopoly in world affairs". China and Russia are very good business partners. Their main trading items are arms sales and oil. As everyone knows, arms sales and oil are two very profitable businesses. Due to the high demand and lack of oil in China, Russia can supply China with oil. Everyone may think why oil from Russia. It is because Russia shares its technological and military knowledge to China. This is a very simple multilateral aid. I buy your oil and you teach me to build nuclear weapons. It is a very simple and profitable agreement. "In August 2005, for the first time in 40 years, the Chinese and Russian armed forced carried out a joint military exercise. The main objective is to gain experience in joint operation. China wants to use that exercise as an experience to fight international terrorism, separatism and extremism." Well as everyone says nothing comes free. China took care of all the costs of the exercises. As you can see it is very simple back and forth giving and receiving.

Everything has two faces-good and bad. And multilateral aid is no exception. In fact, multilateral not only about the money or weapon, but also include to share experience, tools and methodologies. The communication base on the education is more important than give those material help. As an ancient Chinese proverb goes:" Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day; teach him how to fish and he will eat for the rest of his day." Poor countries need help from richer countries but they need to pay a prize. They must give labor, land or the vote to the rich countries which help them. This cannot make the poor countries be strong. It just gives them a short time benefit, therefore this not the poor countries want exactly because they know that is a vicious circle. They lend the money form rich nations to develop their country, but they have to pay this bill one day. This is not volunteer helps. They have to give back to rich nations. When they do not have money to pay back, they are compelled to subscribe some inequality items. The rich nations use this chance to get on their land excavate their resource, monopolize their market and control their country. Although most of the multilateral aids are purposeful, some of them are really want to help them. They give some technology to these countries to help them develop themselves. When the visitations of Providence appear in some countries, this country can get the real multilateral aids from the entire world just like the earthquake in Si Chuan, China. Multilateral aid can help you but it can also harm you. It is like water; it can float a boat but it can also sink a boat.

i'm sorry but is this for a university application?

if so - two problems

one its too long - 2000 words are far too many

and two, I don't know what the question was but this is like a research paper not a college essay.

the colleges want to know about you not about Multilateral Aid

and if this isn't for a college then you obviously put this in the wrong place

Hi zowzow, you have a cool username. This essay is not for a college application; probably for a class. Is that right, rice?

Here is some help:

Multilateral aid is run by international organizations such as the World Bank and "United Nations (UN) and is given from a contributing country to a developing country. Many governments distribute money, food and water, building pipelines and homes to countries that really need help."why the quote mark here? It has provided a lot of effective ways to solve the problem of poverty and develop the world. Although it helps many countries, it is necessary to know more about the negative aspects of multilateral aid, like the aid agencies donate money to the poor countries and operating through bad governments, it might not reach the person who needs the money. However, it there is also some merit to the argument that strong countries, such as U.S and British, want to control of the small countries through multilateral aid, "especially United States, it hopes to intervene others politics and culture using its economic and military strength through multilateral aid" (cite a source) . Otherwise, multilateral aid is a good way to develop the world.

Multilateral agencies provide both humanitarian and development aid to the countries that lack money.

China is growing, its status in the world is getting higher, and one day it will surpass the United States; the United States does not want that to happen.

When the what does this mean?--->(visitations of Providence appear in some countries, this country can get the real multilateral aids from the entire worl d -- just like in the case of the earthquake in Si Chuan, China.

Great points in the essay, mostly clear writing!
