"There is nothing that young people can teach older people"

Can you help me by suggesting some more ideas in my essay?

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
There is nothing that young people can teach older people.
Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

I do not agree with the statement that, "There is nothing that young people can teach older people". I think there new technologies such as internet, computer and iPhones and not all old people are not familiar with it. In early days, there were no phones, computers and internet so old people do not know how to use it. These are the things which I think young people can teach to older people.

Nowadays, we can see every young people have latest laptop and iPhone. He or she has to learn all new things to compete with today's competitive world. He or she has to keep him or herself up-to-date but old people never used these technologies in their life so all these are new things for them. I can take my own example my parents did not know how to handle the computer. Now I am in abroad and internet is the cheapest way of communication so my younger brother teaches them how to use the computer and now we can do a video chat. So I do not think that there is nothing that young people can teach older people.

In addition to that, life changes generation to generation and people have to accept that changes. Our grandparent's life was different from our parent's life and our parent's life is different from ours. When they were working in office most of their work was paper work and now we are working on computers. We can also see some old age people in our office those who are not familiar with computers. Company arranged computer training for such employees and many times such training was taken by young trainers who are experts in computers.

I do agree with this also that older people have lots of experience and they can teach us many things from their experience. We should listen to them and I think they should also ready to accept and learn new things. So, I believe that it is not true that young people cannot teach anything to old people.

young people are the new generation. growing up with new technology and systems, we have so much to offer the older generations. if anything, we have way more to teach the older generation then they can teach us, in the sense that our information might be more valuable in todays society. (modern take on the question).

OMG!!! mistakes, mistakes n mistakes...:(
I never knew but thank you so much. You have cleared my many questions like my first sentence, use of I, we, he & she and conclusion para. In my third para, I tried to add one more example that youngsters can teach older and 'll try to use correct tenses. I'll also rewrite my essay.
