Last week, I chatted with a friend ,who is a English teacher in a famous educational organization, about some confusing problems during her profession. The mushroom development of economy has given rise to the extending need for different education at specific stages. When encounter the issue of the challenges of teaching, quite a few maintain that the widespread technology makes teaching easier to carry out. Nevertheless, in my part, I deem teaching is harder than it was in the past for most cases. Among countless reasons which influence my choice, there are mainly two factors as follows.
When it comes to primary teachers, it seems that this rudimentary stage of education requires more professional skills for teachers in the modern times. Primary schools set a wide array of courses, which potentially need teachers to be versatile in order to keep up with such reformation in the class. A concrete example can further illustrate this change. My sister, who is now a primary student in our local primary school, has various classes such as piano, oil-panting and penmanship. Thus, her primary school teachers always possess at least two professional knowledge, which can be seen at the situation that her math teacher also teaches dancing. As a result, the increased demand for teachers' professional expertise definitely enhances the difficulties of teaching.
Regarding to high school teachers, they encounter a similar situation as well. A great emphasis has been put in the high school education at present, explaining the fact that unavoidable teaching difficulties will haunt those teachers. On account of the significance of being admitted by an excellent university, high school teachers have to be very careful about their teaching methods and about their students' mental attitudes toward study. Take my own experience as an instance, for the sake of the effectiveness of teaching process, my history teacher put great attention and effort on making power point about different historical sections, which makes it easier for students to absorb a myriad of historical points. In addition, she always communicate with the students who failed at weekly quiz and adjust their unsuitable study habits by sharing a more practical one.
Admittedly, as for college teachers, the situation is just the other way around. Today, the excessive accesses provided from high technology lessen the pressure of teaching process.
Students can easily get a wide range of information from Internet, TV, and many electric devices. Furthermore, the modern world affords students with more opportunities to put what they have learned into practice. During this process, teachers are faced with less teaching task in the classroom. However, this is the only case that I can come up with to demonstrate the factor that teaching is not harder than it was in the past.
Based on the analysis I have mentioned above, three different vital stages of teaching are contemplated. As a result,teaching is more harder than it was in the past in that for most cases like primary and high school teaching confront a more complex situation.
Yes, as Pahan says you need to improve your intro a little bit. However, your body paras seem to be fine as they contain reasons for justifying your position and also the examples to support your reason. However, if you were not able to manage time to complete the task, then stick to 2 body paras. The 4 para structure ( Intro, 2 body paras, Conclusion) is more than enough for you to earn a very good score :)
