(150 word limit)With parents both graduating from teacher colleges, teaching always has an incredible charm to me. I started my tutoring business in Grade 10 for some pocket money, but tutoring is much more challenging than I imagined. I work with students who desperately needed to pass their courses yet had only two weeks left in school. I have taught students with dyslexia but still wanted to pursue higher education. My youngest student is only 5 but oldest is in his 50's. By working with people from different academic backgrounds and ages, I really got to see the world and learn how to communicate effectively. This summer, I started my online IELTS tutorials and have taught over 50 students since then. My high school life has been completely changed after being a tutor because it brings me confidence, enhances my leadership skills and builds incredible connections.
