Graduate / A technological world - statement of purpose for masters in computer science [2]
Since my childhood, I am always good at Mathematics. I started learning trigonometry in 6th standard and calculus from 8th standard which is not included in the curriculum. In my high school, I had to study maths, physics and chemistry. I learned different topics in Mathematics including calculus which is a higher level than what I learned before. I used to solve different problems in the calculus of so many books. After high school, I had to write an entrance exam named EAMCET for admission into engineering colleges. I got 5171 rank among 2,00,000 people who took the exam. Then I had to choose a department in 6 departments.
I am not skilled in physics so I don't want to select any department related to physics such as electrical, mechanical, civil. Then I have options for computer science and information Technology to select. Computer science has very good course work than information technology So I selected computer science. This helped me to go into one of the top engineering colleges in my state with a full tuition fee waiver.
In this technological world every day new inventions taking place. I very enthusiastically join the college. In the first semester, I learned C programming language and different subjects which helped me to learn big. In the next semester, I got less grade because of electronics and devices subject which is linked to electronics. I moved from that and got grades in the following semesters. In the middle when I am looking for some technical information on my mobile every news is related to artificial intelligence. Then I looked about artificial intelligence and the way that is changing everything. Then I supposed to study artificial intelligence. I decided to create some innovations using artificial intelligence in the future. Daily I was looking for information about Machine learning, deep learning and artificial intelligence and how they are changing the world in every field. Then I took an online course "Machine Learning by Stanford" from Coursera. This is a long course with assignments. I kept myself learning the course and learned a lot of information from the course. I also did a couple of projects in the undergrad. One is "Kavi" which automatically generates poems and also generates a poem when we give the starting words. This project I did with machine learning and natural language processing where I have given a set of words from a book. The other project is "aperture" which is a live video streaming platform for the desktop where one can host a video others can watch. This two projects built confidence in me that I can do. Further, I want to learn a lot about artificial intelligence and additional computer science subjects which helps me to develop new products and go to an industry where I can apply my skills. So I chose to study masters after my under-graduation.

I looked at Arizona state university masters of computer science program which is industry-oriented and there are a lot of courses to choose from.ASU is one of the top universities and ranked no.1 for innovation for many years and has great faculty. There are artificial intelligence, machine learning and data courses which are taught by many great professors like Subbarao Kambamapati, Heni Ben Armor and Chris Bryan. The research by all of the three is immense and I like to work with them.ASU is multi-diverse where there are people from all over the world with different cultures and different ideas. I believe ASU helps me to grow as I wanted with the help of great faculty and great research facilities.
