I think this essay is truly great. I can't give you grammar advice, as I'm horrid at grammar, but the content of the essay is great. I think the last line is a little cheesy but I think that is what colleges want to see.

I like the idea of the essay, but I don't know if it is enough about you. I mean the Henry Ford stuff is very good but I feel like you could include more of your accomplisments and such to make it have a more personal touch.

I think this is a fantastic essay. I really like how you relate the music to your life. It ties the EC to your passion and shows that you really care about it and are not doing it just for college.

Undergraduate / "I shaved my head for the Saint Baldrick's Foundation" -Common App Extracirrcular [4]

I think this essay is fantastic. I love the uniquness and I'm sure not many students write about shaving their heads. I also think that you show through the shaving much about your love of charity and such which is very important to colleges.
