Dissertations / Research topic for PhD (textile engineer, Technology Management) [2]

I am textile engineer and just finished my MSc (Technology Management), now I am interesting to do PhD. I want to choose topic related to quality and production in textile industry, but this is a general topic and lot of research already done in this field. I want to do something like technology in textile and role of technology for improving quality and reducing production cost per product. I am really stuck and not have any idea about unique topic for PhD. Please suggest me any good idea or topic related to textile management. Thanks
