Grammar, Usage / How to summarise the information that you have found out from Internet? [4]

I have got a homework that i have to write 3 pages about a battle ...
I have found the detailed and complete information about this topic from Internet ...but i don't know how to summarise these information...i don't want just to copy it all word by word ...how could i summarise that like the knowledge of mine?

I'm not a native English speaker...and my English is not extremely well especially writing skill...
what can i do for it...
