What has contributed to your desire to obtain a degree in Nursing?

My desire on becoming a nurse is to make a positive contribution to the people I take care of. My desire is to help improve the lives of others, to help take away the pain and suffering of others. I have the skills that this profession needs which are communication and building positive relationships with others. With a positive impact on others I can help my patient feel secure and instill trust in me. I am someone who is dedicated to something I take seriously. Nursing is a job that should be taken seriously and my desire is to dedicate my life to helping.
