Essay Describing activities since secondary school....

The certificates of honor and award certificates of my grandfather for serving community always created desire and inspired me to spend some time in serving community. My interest and desire were transformed into passion when I engage with different clubs on school. I performed my service in variety of ways and always best to my ability. I keep myself tied with the club as being secretary of Eco club, member of monthly school magazine, an active member Of Red Cross Society. This didn’t quench my thrust for services towards community. Moreover, my hunger for serving community grew more. My passion got direction when I excel the boundaries of school and became engaged with Human Welfare Youth Society Being Secretary.

Though I had already servicing to some other organization, I never left them in lurch. I never engaged them temporarily. I continued to serve them as with same effort and enthusiasm but I keep myself with in other activities as well. I participated myself from high hills of Himalayas to low plains of Terai. I voluntarily served with Nepal centre for disaster Management in Disaster risk reduction program, and in awareness of disaster relief. I was employed with other youth club in conducting free eye check-ups camps, free medicine distribution and in collecting funds for scholarships program for indigenous and deprived community children.

My personal instinct and attachment with community grew deeper and deeper. As said by Lord Chesterfield,”The more one works, the more willing one is to work”, my mind fully occupied with the thought of community serving. My great wish was fulfilled when I was able to construct primary health post along the East-West highway in parsa. The idea of establishing the health post grew on my mind when I saw many causalities of road accident being dead for not being able to get even primary health services. Moreover, I was able to collect funds for an ambulance to the primary health post. Overall, these services were completed all under my supervision. My effort saved many lives of road casualties.

I am grateful that my spare time was well utilized. I developed the attitude of community serving. I feel myself on the track of my grandfather. I feel satisfied when I see those children studying in scholarships through the funds I have collected. The smile across the faces of illiterate people whose eye-sight makes me protected makes me more passionate in community services. My activities were not only bound to schools, I worked fully to serve the community through the possible ways expending my best knowledge and capacity.
