Is success in life earned, or do people succeed because they are lucky?
Luck is one of a factor that leads people to success; however, work hard is more important than luck. For example, if you are luck can meet a person to help you, if you don't cooperate with this person or lazy to practice, this lucky chance will be no helpfulness. There are two examples from King George VI and Thomas Edison about their work hard and overcome something, in the end, they all success and did a pretty good job.
King George VI was suffered from severe stammer until he met a wonderful speech therapist Lionel Logue. Logue helps him practice repeating tongue twisters and does vocal exercises day by day. Also he helps him to overcome shine and his shadow from his childhood that ridiculed by his brother and bully by his nanny. During Logue's treatment and King George VI's hardworking practice, he did an amazing speech on radio broadcasts to the British Empire throughout the Second World War.
Thomas Edison only accepts three months education from official school, then he study at home taught by his mother. During the time he invents light bulb, he uses more than 2000 different materials as a conductor until its working. A reporter asks him "do you think it's hard to invent light bulb when during use more than 2000 materials that don't work? Edison answers"No, that I know there are more than 2000 material can't use.
This two people all luck because there is someone support them, but if they don't work hard, they must can't success. Because they practice and try so many times, King George VI can overcome his tension to give a speech to people and Edison successfully invent light bulb.
