Essays / Detective Fiction Story Rules - introduction [2]

Here is my intro for the first paper. Could someone take a look of it please?
Thesis statment: the study and practice of detective fiction rules to create a fiction story decrease the author's creativity

We are all born with a talent for telling stories. Nobody teaches us how to create stories during childhood or how to tell a story when we are adults; we already know that. Some of writers instinctively know how to develop their thoughts into books. On the other hand, few books can guide us how to tell a story, by pretending there are precise formula and rules, or by insisting that an exact order of events should be followed. There are some rules, as an example, in detective fictions category to place a story in this genre, which force a writer to limit his thoughts, ideas and changing event sequences. In brief, the study and practice of detective fiction rules to create a fiction story decrease the author's creativity. Therefore, it's better to let the author to write whatever he wants, and then put the result in a genre rather than listing rules for each genre in order to write stories based on them.
