Writing Feedback / IELTS: Task 1 - two charts on aspects of adult education [2]
Hello,
I have just started the preparation for IELTS, so it would be great to know how much should I improve to score at least 7 in writing.
The graphs and instructions are here: essayforum.com/shared_files/uploaded/38912/160658_1_o.png
-------
The two graphs describe the adolescents' opinion about the education. The single bar graph shows the reasons why people choose adult education, while the pie chart reveals their notion on who should pay the educational costs.
According to the bar chart, the majority of people claim to choose education because they are interested in the subjects (40%), o want to gain qualifications (38%). Around 20% of respondents report studies should be advantageous for their current job position (22%), whereas the other 20% state they simply like studying. The lowest percentage of answers comprise of the prospect to change jobs (12%) or meet new people (9%).
It can be seen in the pie chart, that the respondents were mostly keen to pay for their own education (40%). However, 35% expected their employer to be responsible for the tuition fees. One fifth of the adults thought it is taxpayers' responsibility to sponsor the adult studies.
To sum up, the overall trend to choose studies in adult age is the interest in the subject or prospects to gain qualifications, and students themselves or their employers are thought to be responsible for the education fees.

Thank you in advance for the comments!
