Undergraduate / Study Plan for Study Permit; Application to Embassy of Canada [6]
Could anyone please correct my study plan, and give me some advices ? I am going to apply my application to the Embassy of Canada but i am really not sure about my study plan . I afraid that they will give me a refusal if my study is not clear. Thank you very much
My Study plan:
My name is Tran Hoang Kim, 19 years old .I had just graduated from high school. However, I was planning to study oversea so I decided to look for a good university outside my country to apply. That was how I know of the University of British Columbia, one of the top universities in the world, having an outstanding global academic reputation and strong ranking across many facilities. Because of its excellent environment, I wish to pursue my personal goals of perceiving more about the field of Biotechnology at UBC, thus be better able to become a biotechnologist.
Furthermore, I also research on the Internet about biotechnology and bioinformatics. I am very excited about genetic manipulation, recombinant gene and immunology. It is a relatively new and fast-developing field that integrates knowledge from several traditional sciences: biochemistry, chemistry, microbiology, and chemical engineering.
In term of my studying duration, I believe that it will take 4 years to complete my Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology's degree. Moreover, I will try my best to acquire high academic achievement over the time I study in Canada. Obviously, I will come back to my home country with various reasons. First, Vietnam is one of developing countries among the world so we may not have extensive knowledge to improve our technology in such a new field like Biotechnology ,so with patriotism I am in the high hope of contributing myself, with all knowledge that I will be studied at UBC, to support Vietnamese education in the field of Biotechnology in order to keep abreast of recent scientific developments. Second ,I really love my parents but now they are old so I have to take care of them and cannot let them be alone such a very long period so it will mean that whenever I finish my degree ,I have to come back to fulfill my duties as their daughter.
After all, Studying in Canada will be joyous path and astronomical motivation for me to keep following my dream of becoming a truly biotechnologist and helping my country.
