Essays / Need help on ideas for managerial turnover correlated to professional football results [2]

I've been given an essay title : "The correlation between changing football managers and football results". Despite my research, I'm struggling to generate enough content for a 1000 word essay. I plan on talking about the 'Regression towards the Mean' theorem but I doubt I will be able to flesh the essay out properly just based on that particular concept.

What other (potentially mathematically related) ideas and content could I talk about and how would you recommend I structure them?
