Scholarship / GKS Scholarship- Statement of purpose (Language Study Plan) - English and Korean [3]

Hello, I'm planning on applying for the GKS scholarship, and this is my language study plan, where it is required to write about study plans to improve foreign languages(Korean, English, etc) required for taking a degree course BEFORE and AFTER you come to Korea.

I would very much appreciate feedback on this draft.

Language Study Plan:

Coming from a country whose native language is not English, I do not use it that often after I started my undergraduate studies. But nonetheless, since I have learned the language during my whole school period, with the advantage of having English native speaking friends, I have reached the point where I can write, read and speak the language fluently. And to do a proper test to see my English language proficiency, I took the TOEFL iBT test recently and based on the score I find that I still need more learning to do regarding the language.

Regarding the Korean language, I have great interest with learning it, since personally I believe that you can see the culture through the language itself. The process by which I will improve myself in the languages is as follows:

1) Before coming to Korea:
- Read books and web articles in English to improve reading skills and expand my vocabulary.
- Listen to online talks, radio shows, news and TV shows to improve my listening skills.
- Learn the Korean alphabets known as "Hangul," to have the proper base to read, and write.
- Learn the right pronunciation of the language to be able to speak correctly.
- Learn basic greetings and phrases to be able to get by myself without being dependent on the English language completely.
- Start learning the basic grammar as well to understand the rules of the language.
- Create daily tasks to track my progress throughout the process.
2) After coming to Korea:
- Communicate with the other international students with English and Korean Language to help each other with what we lack in both languages.
- Set a goal to achieve a minimum level of TOPIK 5, by the end of the one year language school.
- Continue with creating daily tasks adding to the ones given from the classes.
- Participate in clubs or volunteer work, which will allow me to enhance my speaking and listening skills from native and international students.
- Practice reading academic articles in Korean to help me prepare for when I start my graduate studies.
- Expand my vocabulary in Korean academic terms.
