I think you have great ideas! And you really hit the nail on the head with regard to the Reverand and Glide Church.

I think what you should work on, is following the poster above me's advice and cut some of the examples. After that you can then add to it more about YOU. How has the Reverand shaped you, though not explicitly stated in the prompt, the adcom is really looking to learn about you. So make your essay a bit more personal and you will have a great essay!
