Letters / Motivation letter to pursue a phd in Battery Management system in the University [2]
Dear Admission committee,
I'd like to take this opportunity to express my motivation to pursue my phd in Battery management system In University.
During my graduation in Mechanical Engineering, I found automobile engineering quite interesting and enjoyable subject and this can be seen in my marks as well as i got second highest marks in automobile engineering compared to all my engineering subject. My interest in automobile engineering made me to pursue my masters in Automotive engineering and eventually to my first Job in Automotive sector. I started my corporate career with Learning about Inline fuel Injection Pumps fitted on stationary engine. my eagerness to learn has been quickly looked by my Manager and i have been assigned with new tasks like EGR calibration. All my learning i tried to publish in SAE paper titled "Optimization of GENSET Engine for CPCB-II Norms using Cost Effective Techniques".
My ability to quickly grasp the technical things landed me new learning task in off road engine segment, Challenge was to replace current Inline Fuel system with modern common rail diesel system to achieve better fuel consumption with reduced emission, we have successfully implemented the CRS (common rail system) system, I have been appreciated for my work and awarded with new opportunity of integrating the Naturally aspirated engine with turbo charger which i have completed well within time.
My interest to learn about new technology has kept on increasing and i decided to work on Passenger car segment with new fuel i.e gasoline and Natural gas.
I learned about Gasoline emission calibration and Emission calibration with Compressed natural gas. I have also got opportunity to learn about MATLAB software which i digested well and started working on same. I learned and validated Mild Hybrid and idle start stop calibration technologies on vehicle via INCA and Modelled the Battery Management system in MATLAB and SIMULINK.
With all the skillset required for the position of Phd candidate in field of Battery Management system, i am already equipped desired skillset with working exposure at OEM level on Battery Management system Modeling. I am sure my working Experience of 9 year in research and development domain will help in successful completion of the BMS project.
