The line graphs show the detail about the amount of money spent by parents in Britain on their kids' sporting activities and number of participation in three different sports during the period from 2008 to 2014.
From an overall perspective, it is evident that average monthly spend on children's sports increased gradually. In terms of the number (number) of children participation, football was considerably more popular than athletics and swimming.
In 2008, British parents spent about 20 pounds on their activities related to sports. Over the six-year period, this figure increased moderately, and by 2014 this amount was over 30 pounds.
Looking at participation numbers, in 2008, football accounted for the highest figure in this term, approximately 8 millions, while just 2 millions of kids participated (participating) in swimming and 1 million practiced athletics. In the following 6 years, the number of children playing football remained relatively stable. However, in 2014, swimming participation doubled than in the first year and athletics witnessed a fivefold increase in the figure.
