Graduate / My Statement of Purpose for UT Austin for Electrical Engineering Program [2]
Here is my Statement. I am unsure if this is the type of essay the admission officers seek. I need help from someone to look at it. Any comment and advice is welcome. I think I wrote too much, but I don't know what to cancel... PLEASE HELP... Thank you in advance.

Also, I can't make the essay any longer because of the requirement. It's already too long the way it is right now, and if I need to add something, I need to delete something, and I don't know what.
As of the way the essay is right now, what do you think is unnecessary? I don't want to give the admission office too much to read.
Here is the final copy as of right now.
I have always been fascinated by the concept of intelligent machines, a fascination that blossomed as a bridge the gap between Electrical theory knowledge and practical real-life application. While this field of engineering was not a childhood aspiration, its steady absorption of knowledge gradually revealed its allure, revealing an unexpected yet resounding passion within me. This exploration began with an inquisitive exploration of Electrical Power Systems, a curiosity that promoted a reverse engineering approach, breaking down the intricate system into comprehensible fragments. This progression of interest, coupled with a natural affinity for this branch of engineering, eventually led me to pursue an academic path, delving into Electrical and Electronics Engineering for my under graduation studies.
My undergraduate education opened doors to a diverse array of Electrical Engineering fundamentals, significantly deepening my grip on Power Systems, Power Electronics. Throughout the course work, I seamlessly interconnected various subjects, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and its pragmatic applications in my projects. My academic performance has consistently excelled across a spectrum of topics, including Machines, Control Systems, Power Electronics FACTS, and Power Systems. Notably, I undertook the project "Adaptive PID Speed Control Design for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Drives using MATLAB" and created an "Electric Wheelchair for Disabled Individuals". The latter materialized as a functional project, an application of Arduino Uno and programming to control motion via a joystick interface. These projects elucidated the indispensability of amalgamating diverse subject knowledge in transforming conceptual ideas into real-world applications. Commendation from my mentor and an enthusiastic response from the organization instilled in me the confidence to persist in my chosen domain, while also revealing new horizons in technology that fueled a hunger for deeper exploration.
Beyond academics, I actively engaged within and beyond the classroom from fulfilling the role of Class Representative to organizing the Freshman Induction Program. I immersed myself in various activities, which include as the Event Coordinator for the technical paper presentation during our college technical fests. These engagements not only honed my teamwork and leadership skills but also broadened my mental aptitude. Empowered by these experiences, I made a career that aligned close with my aspirations in Reliance Industries KGD6 E&P as an Electrical Engineer in Operation and Maintenance.
Currently stationed as an Electrical Engineer on Operation and Maintenance- Onshore and Offshore platform at Reliance Industries Limited. I have been entrusted with critical responsibility encompassing troubleshooting, Electrical operations, implementation of meticulous electrical maintenance, and ensuring asset integrity, RCA, and reliability. My proficiency shines through in handling 3X29Mva Siemens Gas Turbine, 2X2 Mva 6.6Kv Caterpillar Emergency Diesel Generators, 33Kv Switchyard, and Substations for transmission & Distribution. One notable change I have experienced in transitioning from student life to professional life is the emphasis on Hazardous area classification, IEC Standards, ATEX rated, OISD Standards, and equipment manuals will be our best friends. This involves selecting electrical equipment for installation based on specific classifications, ensuring compliance with IEC & ATEX Standards before installation, commissioning, and creating a Standard Operating Procedure & Standard Maintenance Procedure.
My expertise extended to a diverse of equipment, Power and distribution transformers, Protective Relays, HT/LT Motors, Variable Frequency Drives, UPS Systems, Battery chargers, VRLA, and Ni-Cd Battery technology. Additionally, I have familiarized myself with the utilization of advanced technologies such as Siemens PLC- Controlled HVAC System, cable size calculations, and SAP MMCS & RP4 Modules for efficient material management and Preventive Maintenance planning. I have been a member of the Incident investigation team in conducted and presented a Root Cause Analysis report, one of the Root Cause Analysis reports was on "the failure of DC Capacitors in AC Uninterrupted Power Supply 230V Single phase". Which series of mishaps were identified which went unnoticed during the daily LLF, which failed DC Capacitor. The recommendation and valuable insights into improving the reliability and performance were implemented. The temperature of the capacitors measured during the LLF and to provide "Temperature indicating labels" on the capacitors where the labels will change concerning the capacitor temperature and replacement of the DC Capacitor every 5 years. The Other recommendation is to procure DC Capacitors which comprise the pressure-relief valve as in case of severe or rapid increases in temperature, the capacitor roll softens the thermoplastic strip which then allows the elastic member to be blown away so that the aperture becomes directly open to the atmosphere and allows the excessive pressure to be released very rapidly to prevent any possible explosion. The above RCA indicates a solid understanding of power system components, failure analysis, and practical solutions to enhance system reliability and safety.
In pursuit of building a solid foundation, I proactively took training from Industrial Automation with PLC & SCADA, a comprehensive program offered by the esteemed National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Calicut. I also familiarized myself with Power System Protection and Relay Coordination course accredited by Advance Electrical Designing and Engineering Institute authorized under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSME) govt. of India. However, I recognize the need to further deepen my expertise, broaden my knowledge in power systems, and control system designing. Pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering will provide me with the opportunity to dive into advanced exploring areas such as renewable energy integration and intelligent control systems.
My academic foundation, in combination with my hands-on practical experience, has solidified my resolve to pursue a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the esteemed University of Texas at Austin with a focus on Power Systems with control design and Power Electronics. I chose the United States over other countries because it has established itself as a top destination for higher education, has a multilingual environment, and has a wide range of options depending on a student's academic and professional objectives. On the other hand, I chose your prestigious university because it provides a balance of hardware and software knowledge, and covers essential Energy System technologies, Design/Simulation tools, and trends. Having gone through faculty profiles and research areas in your University Web Portal, I realized that your esteemed university is a perfect choice where I can put in my best efforts and make my vision take its concrete form. The innovative and inspirational research done at the university has greatly influenced my decision and I have zeroed in on pursuing my graduate studies at your esteemed university. It would be my privilege to be able to study at your esteemed university and avail the excellent infrastructural facilities. Looking for an opportunity, I thank the admissions committee for considering my application for the Electrical Engineering graduate program at your prestigious university.
