Undergraduate / my participation in football - Elaborate on one of your extracurricular activies [3]

Blood, sweat, tears, cheers, laughter, joy, and heartbreak. These words come to my mind when I think of the years of hard work I went through with my participation in football. My four years playing this brutal sport has left memorable moments that will be continued to be thought about as I move in life. The invaluable lessons I learned, the friendships I created, and the exhilarating moments of close victories are experiences that no other activity can compare to. Hours of work are put into conditioning and lifting so no player will ever get too tired to play. Hours of work are put into preparation and planning so no player will ever make the slightest mental error in a game. Hours of ice and heating pads placed upon the bruises and nicks from continuous collisions with your closest peers. Not many people understand the time and effort football players put into achieving their desires of success, however, the life lessons of overcoming adversity accomplishing my desires will always be with me.
