Book Reports / Tale of Two Cities Essay (the theme that love conquers hate) [2]

this is a tale of two cities essay and i picked the theme that love conquers hate. i use two examples of love conquering and the way the defarges exemplify hate.

Tale of Two Cities Draft
A once famous quote, now long forgotten, conveyed one man's, views on love (Emmet Fox). "There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer," he proclaimed, "no disease that enough love will not heal, no door that enough love will not bridge, no wall that enough love will not throw down, no sin that enough love will not redeem... It makes no difference how deeply seated may be the trouble, how hopeless the outlook, how muddled the tangle, how great the mistake, love conquers all." Nevertheless others such as Thomas Hobbs thought humans were a savage, animalistic race that needed to be controlled. The pair ideas can both be portrayed through acts and people in A Tale of Two Cities. The effects of Lucy's love on Dr. Manette, as well as the transformation of Sydney Carton's lifestyle elucidate the love concept. An additional act of love that has been portrayed through the book was the care that Mr. Lorry instilled on Lucy when her father disappeared. Nonetheless, Hobbs's idea can furthermore be shown through the acts of the sinister Defarges'. As revealed throughout this section though darkness is a powerful influence love conquers all.

Throughout the saga of a Tale of Two Cities, love can be depicted thru the adoration Lucy Manette bestows upon her father along with Sydney Carton. After seventeen year of false imprisonment, Dr. Manette's mind is torn and broken due to loss of insanity, therefore is mentally incapable of recognizing his surroundings. Lucy, being aware of this mental breakdown, nurses her father back to sanity with the aid of her affection. Sydney Carton too was imprisoned, yet he was mentally held because he lacked motivation to complete anything. On the other hand, when Lucy came along, Carton's life was revolutionized. When expressing his emotions towards her, he mentioned how if it had not been for her, he would not be the man he was that day.

Though Mr. Lorry had not had major change on many people in the tale, affecting Lucy in recovery, when her father had been abruptly taken away from her could be viewed as a substantial impact. He supported her to the point where he could provide a loving, secure childhood. Mr. Lorry became Lucy's father figure throughout the legend. He would facilitate the protected recovery of Dr. Manette along with Lucy and never faltered while doing so.

please provide hints, advice, good and bad stuff noticed negtive preferebly:) thanks
