I have fifty thousand dollars to donate to a non profit organization. And my choice is my alma mater, my high school. I studied there for five years. During those five years, I met many brilliant students who came from low income family. They could not afford to pay for the tuition fees and the text books. Nor could they afford other school needs. As a result, many of them could not continue till graduation.

Over the years I have saved this money to help students who cannot afford to pay for their education. Therefore, I want to open a scholarship program in my high school. This scholarship will provide monthly allowance to the needy students who will maintain excellent academic and extra-curricular performance. I believe, this initiative will not only decrease the number of droputs in my high school, but also set a positive example of giving back to community.
