Research Papers / I need help writing an essay on children's literature [5]

I have to write 1000 word essay on why a story is good for a child that is an orphan, has one parent deceased, or is raised by a single parent. I need to find a story that meets this criteria. Once I do find a story I have no clue how I am going to write this paper. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
