I'm writing a paper about Paradise Lost with a focus on the importance of the physical details and I need some help with my thesis statement.

assignment's prompts/instructions:
"Discuss the importance of the physical details of heaven, hell, and paradise to what you see as the overall argument of the poem."

I have no clue as to what the overall theme of the poem is. I know the descriptions of the setting are important. For example, hell is described to indicate the torments satan and other demons are going through. Hell also is shown as a contrast to the bliss in heaven. Again, hell is shows in horrors to scare the readers.

I need help with writing a focused and precise thesis statement.
