Graduate / I am ready to further my commitment to NURSING! [3]

The essay requirement is so short, I feel like I had to not go too deep. Just wanted some feedback. Does it sound too cliche or generic?

Prompt: 100-200 word essay describing the congruence of the applicant's educational goals with the programs at CSU Dominguez Hills Nursing department.

My primary educational goal is to increase my expertise in a field I have thoroughly come to enjoy. Since graduating from CSU Fresno in 1994, I have had numerous clinical and personal experiences that have facilitated my competence as a nurse.

Now, I would welcome the opportunity to pursue graduate study in Nursing. One of my goals in becoming an advanced practice nurse, is to increase accessibility to healthcare. I know I am capable of providing proficient, culturally mindful care in an expeditious manner. I need the structure and carefully designed curriculum of your program to hone my assessment skills and further my knowledge in pharmacology, disease management and prevention. At this time, I am ready to further my commitment to nursing and the rigorous study required so, I can be one of many Family Nurse Practitioners that are improving our healthcare system.
