My teaching experience offers me insight on understanding the needs of various types of children. (I THINK YOU SHOULD CLARIFY THE NEEDS...ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT GENERAL NEEDS OR LANGUAGE NEEDS?!)
I was able to apply what I learned in my linguistics courses to teach my students how to pronounce sounds that do not exist in the English language, explaining the place and manner of articulation, vowel qualities, and tonal contours. (THIS SENTENCE SOUNDS A LITTLE LONG...MAYBE YOU SHOULD BREAK IT UP...I WAS ABLE TO APPLY WHAT I LEARNED IN MY LING. COURSES TO TEACH MY STUDENTS HOW TO PRONOUNCE SOUNDS THAT DO NOT EXIST IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE. I EXPLAINED THE PLACE AND MANNER OF ARTICULATION OF SOUNDS AS WELL AS VOWEL QUALITIES AND TONAL CONTOURS.)

The size of your CSD department...( I WOULDN'T SAY YOUR... I WOULD SAY THE NAME OF THE SCHOOL)
I like how you included specifically what you want to study and research...I would maybe expand the 2nd page
