Writing Feedback / [ielts graph] Underground Railway Systems / popularity [2]

The table shows the summary of underground Railways systems in terms of ages, size and popularities in number of passengers.

First of all, London was opened in 1983 which is oldest in among of six cities followed by Paris,Tokyo,Washington DC, etc and Los Angeles for last. In terms of size, London has appeared to the biggest with its 394 kilometres of route. In contrast, Kyoto underground railways showed smallest size at 11 kilometres which is almost 35 times smaller than London's one.

However, interestingly, passengers per year of Tokyo revealed the highest number with 1927 millions, though its size was less than half of London. However, as predictably, Kyoto's passengers per year showed the lowest number at 45 million followed by Los Angeles with very similar figure at 50 millions.

In conclusion, underground Railway systems of some countries are not quite well connected in size and passenger's number but others are linked well.
