Hello,

I was wondering is someone know an interesting topic for "Demo Speech"? Our teacher wants us to be original, and she doesn't want to see any food or drinks. I was going to do a speech on Income Tax return, but she said no, because she saw it many times already...So, she said that she doesn't want to see topics like: how to tie a tie, how to bake a cake, origami...She doesn't want to see any of that. I can not come up with any original ideas. Please help! Thank you in advance!

I was hopping that some one can give me an idea. I was given a sentence "Once I was..., now I am...." I need to fill in the blanks. But sentences like "Once I was a kid, now I am an adult" or "Once I was a student, now I am a teacher" won't work. I want something interesting. Once I fill in the blanks I would have to write a little bit about what I was before, and what I am now. If you have any interesting ideas, I will be happy to hear them.
