Undergraduate / Watching my mother painting walls and furniture; My FIT essay: Interior Design [4]

What makes you a perfect candidate for FIT? Why are you interested in the major you are applying to? We'd like you to tell us in an essay. This is your chance to tell us more about your experiences, activities and accomplishments. (No more than 750 words, please.)

I started watching my mother painting walls and furniture, I was able to watch only, but it was enough to display creative abilities since an early age. I remember moving all furniture around every single Month; I never needed to buy new things, because at the end everything always looked amazingly renovated.

When I started painting walls with my mother, it was so much fun that I couldn't imagine that I would like to do it for life. My passion for Interiors growth and a desire to be a Designer came together. Interior Design speaks to me and brings out creativity that I never knew I had.

Dreams and hard work are important. But education is the foundation that everything starts from. Education at the Fashion Institute of Technology is a prerequisite for my making any contribution be it small or great.

Not only do I have many things to offer but I also believe in what FIT has to offer me.
I have participated in the summer program, and I'm confident that I can achieve my goals learning from the best in the field.
I am interested in interior design because its something I can see myself doing and love doing it.

I would be very grateful to learn from such outstanding leaders who can give me insight as how to survive and thrive in this desired field.
