Research Papers / A study on dog abuse and prevention in Malaysia [2]
I have drafted 3 research questions:
1) How dogs are abused in Malaysia?
2) Are dogs abuse cases on the rise in Malaysia?
3) How to prevent dog abuses and steps taken to reduce dog abuse in Malaysia?
1) How dogs are abused in Malaysia?
Canned, chained, beaten, poor feeding, abandoned dogs, tortured and etc etc
2) Are dog abuse cases on the rise in Malaysia?
a) 25th may 2011 stray allegedly caught and shot in full view of children
b) 20th may 2011 dog owner cries foul over cruel killing
c) 19th may 2011 not a dogs world in selayang
d) 13th may 2011 dog culling video under probe
e) Batu Pahat Municipal Council Dog Abuse
f) Toy Poodle Abusers Not Prosecuted
g) Open Shooting of Strays By Penang Municipal Council
i) Cold Blooded Shooting by Johor Baru Municipal Council
j) 2 Canines Ill-treated by Selayang Municipal Council
k) Batu Pahat Municipal Council Dog Abuse
l) 'Nuisance' Dog Killed By Tampin Municipal Council
m) 9 Pedigrees Euthanized By Kuala Langat District Council
3) How to prevent Dog abuses and steps taken to reduce dog abuse in Malaysia?
a) Reduce municipal cruelty
b) Ban on shooting and use humane methods (catching)
c) Build more low cost veterinary clinics - affordable for everyone.
d) Government to give funds for the NGO's to take care of stray & abused dogs.
e) Encourage spaying or neutering to reduce unwanted population.
f) Educate young kids on how to treat animals (dogs and puppies) with kindness and respect.
g) Contact or report to police or NGO's(SPCA, PAWS, MDDB,HOPE) if come across with dog abuse cases
h) Tighten the law / Increase the punishment to owners if they don't take a good care of their dogs.
i) NGO's to have more road shows on dog abuse
j) Encourage public to become a NGO volunteer & start a neighborhood watch programs.
Objectives:

i need guide line to finish up my research. i really don't know how to start and finish it. my research requires 7000 words.
