1. Edmund lied to Gloucester about Edgar

Betrayal
1. Edmund betrayed Gloucester and Edgar
2. Regan and Goneril betrayed Lear's love
3. Lear's foolish betrayal of Cordelia's love

Abandon
1. Gloucester got abandoned by Edmund.
2. Goneril and Regan abandoned Lear
