Graduate / The main features and how to write the Letter of intent? [4]
So here what I got. Well this might look like stream of consciousness. Anyway there is such a mess in my head!
First term of my last year at school. Next year this I should be studying overseas if not at my home country. The very thought of being a student shivers me till the marrow of my bones. I'm being nervous. The reason is to make the right choice where to study. I already made my mind to become a professional in the Business Administration sphere. I love social sciences and mathematics. I took part in different contests regional and international and there were successes and failures. My dream is to improve my country on the worldwide arena. Before developing the industry and infrastructure we need people who will work those factories and plants. I compare the structures in my country and those of others and came to a conclusion that social and business branches seriously survive behind 20 years. We need a breakthrough! I understand that I'm too young to judge the political and social affairs in my country but there is definitely something need to be done.
Surfing the net I usually come across lots of information about foreign universities and education "there". It appeals to me. In comparison to our universities the sites are lively and attracts your attention. The opportunities that they propose are huge. I live in a country of big opportunities: we have petrol, iron, natural gas, uranium, aluminum and almost all Mendeleev elements BUT the living standards are still those of Third World. My heart aches when I see corrupted officials. Till which times we will live like that? Our great president tries his best to make our country better but his alone! In my opinion we need good people who will do all their best to achieve higher standards for their fellowmen.
I participated at the Regional mathematics olimpiad and got silver, at the Republican maths olimpiad I got bronze. This year I took part in INESPO, Nethterlands 2011 (international Project olimpiad ) and received a certificate for effort. At the local Project Olimpiad I took 2nd place. At the international Kolmogorov maths 2010 olimiad, Russia, I took 3rd place. So these are my current achievement. Do I deserve to study at AIU?
