Writing Feedback / Modern technology has made a negative impact on societies [4]

Technology has changed the way we do research; topic refining (technology and its impact on society)

So for our college writing class we have a sequence of papers/assignments all involving our topic. ex) research proposal, critical analysis, comparative analysis.

At this point my topic is "how technology has made an impact on society". Right now that topic is waaay to large/vague and I need to refine it to something more specific.

I was thinking some stuff like

"how technology has made an impact on our education systems"(still somewhat vague)

"has technology changed us for better or for worse?"

"Technology has changed the way we do research"

"Technology has changed the way we communicate"

Any suggestions on how to refine and get more specific on these topics would be greatly appreciated
