Explain in detail your interest in the major you wish to pursue at Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Include specific reasons why you have selected a particular program and your career goals, in addition to any accomplishments you believe will enhance your future academic success.
Throughout my life, I always wanted to pursue a career in the healthcare field. I volunteered at a hospital for the past two years. During this period, I witnessed the life of patients and felt their sufferings; I watched as family members lose their loved ones in front of their eyes. As I sat there watching, I felt terrified and helpless. This experience gave me more strength and passion toward my one and only dream: a career in the healthcare field.
Becoming a pharmacist will allow me to pursue my dreams. I want to provide relief and accommodation for those in need. I want to be able to cure the ill and give them hope for a better, healthier future. Pharmacy will allow me to prevent the suffering of the ill by providing the best medications available. ACPHS will provoke me to devote my time and knowledge to achieve my goals and success throughout.
